Noosa Heads

We're looking for an experienced Workshop Foreman to own technical quality, mentoring, and diagnostic leadership across two specialist workshops: 4WD Obsession Noosa (4WD accessories, fittings, GVM, mechanical, aircon) and Noosa Radiators (cooling specialists).

$100,000 – $115,000 per year + Company Car

You’ll be hands‑on—still turning wrenches—but also the technical gatekeeper who ensures every job is diagnosed correctly, scoped accurately, executed well, and released only when it’s genuinely done. You’ll identify upsells and additional work opportunities, mentor technicians, and report to our Service Manager.

Commercial Awareness

Who You Are

- Experienced mechanic/technician with proven hands‑on capability (4WD, radiator/cooling, air conditioning, mechanical repairs)

- Detail‑oriented:

You notice things others miss and follow through
- Communicator: You can explain technical findings to customers and advisors without jargon overload
- Resourceful problem‑solver: You figure out how to get the job done within constraints
- Willing to mentor: You enjoy helping technicians develop and improve
- Reliable and punctual: You set the tone for the workshop culture

Essential:

- 5+ years hands‑on mechanical experience (automotive focus)
- Proven ability to diagnose and scope repairs accurately

Highly Desirable:

- Technical autonomy: You own the technical decisions and quality standards
- Respected position: You're the authority on what's right and why
- Mentoring prospect: Help build the next generation of technicians
- Diverse technical scope: Work spans 4WD accessories, GVM, mechanical, air conditioning, and cooling specialist work—broad technical challenges
- Part of a growth business: We're expanding in 2026 and need strong technical leadership to scale
