Task & responsibilities
- Oversee daily fleet operations and vehicle allocation across the Shoalhaven and Capital regions.
- Coordinate servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Ensure vehicles and drivers meet registration, safety, fatigue management and heavy vehicle compliance requirements.
- Monitor fuel, maintenance,
insurance and other fleet operating costs.
- Prepare driver rosters and coordinate drivers to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate fleet, servicing, compliance and incident records.
- Monitor driver performance, vehicle usage and delivery activity using tracking systems.
- Liaise with customers, workshops, suppliers and transport contractors to resolve operational issues.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree qualification (or equivalent or higher)
- At least 1 year of experience in fleet management, transport, logistics, or a related field
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Knowledge of fleet compliance, safety, and maintenance requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
