About the Role
A outstanding opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and energetic Fire Equipment/Extinguisher Technician with a ‘can-do’ attitude to join our Sydney team, based in Homebush West. This is a full-time position offering the successful candidate career progression opportunities with one of the leading Fire Protection Companies in Australia.
Working in a strong team environment, your solid work ethic and high degree of customer satisfaction will see you well rewarded with attractive EBA conditions,
standard40-hour week (Monday to Friday)with RDO, andovertime rates for any extra hours, as a well as a tool of trade commercial vehicle to enable you to perform your duties.
Your primary duties will include:-
- Testing and repairs of fire protection equipment to Australian Standards including but not limited to fire extinguishers, fire hoses, fire blankets.
- Liaising with customers, fostering a courteous and professional business relationship.
- Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
- Fire Equipment product sales across a diverse range of industries.
To be considered for this role, ideally you will need to have:
- Fire industry experience.
- Current Driver’s Licence.
- Strong focus and commitment to workplace safety.
- Excellent customer service and time management.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Good personal presentation.
- Willingness to multi-skill into other areas of fire protection.
