We are seeking a Design Manager to join ACE PDG in a full time capacity based at our Sydney Olympic Park office in NSW. This is a strategic role that sits at the heart of our project delivery, ensuring that design excellence and coordination are maintained throughout all phases of construction projects. As Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design process, managing design teams, and ensuring that all design deliverables align with project objectives, timelines and budgets. This position is crucial to our success in delivering complex construction projects that meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and co-ordinate design teams across multiple projects, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between architects, engineers and other design consultants.




- Develop and maintain comprehensive design management plans and strategies for assigned projects
- Review and approve design documentation, drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements, building codes and standards
- Manage design budgets and timelines, ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule and within financial parameters
- Conduct regular design review meetings with stakeholders to track progress, identify risks and resolve design-related issues
- Liaise between the design team and construction team to facilitate smooth transitions from design to implementation phases
