Jordan Plumbing is a thriving tier one plumbing contractor with over 250 employees across both SA and the NT. Our award-winning construction division focuses on large commercial work, with our portfolio including many landmark projects across government, defence, education, commercial, industrial, medical, and retail sectors.
We are currently seeking a full time salary-based Construction Project Administrator to join our team in our SA head office, located at Croydon Park.
Position
The role of the Construction Project Administrator is to provide support to Project Managers and Site Managers in the delivery of construction projects, and to liaise with clients and builders in the coordination and submission of project documentation. The role is an invaluable part of our project team structure and is integral to both our tendering and project delivery processes.
Tasks and Duties
- Creating, reviewing, and maintaining project documentation.
- Assisting Project Managers with estimating and tender submissions.
- Issuing progress claims, tax invoices and following up payments.
- Liaising between Project Managers, Site Managers & Clients.
- Assisting with the quantification and ordering of sanitaryware and tapware.
- Comply with industry and builder quality assurance documents.
Experience and skills
Successful candidates for this role will:
- Have experience in a similar role.
- Hold a current valid Australian driver’s licence.
- Have the ability to work with deadlines and competing demands.
- Be able to work both independently and within a team.
- An ability to communicate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Employ a high level of organisation and time management skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Possess excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Have a positive can-do attitude and a great work ethic.
