Risk & Compliance Manager Full-time | Permanent

About the Role

A well-established, diversified property and investment business is seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Manager to join its A&NZ; operations. This is a hands-on role sitting within a small, high-performing team, responsible for embedding a robust risk and compliance culture and ensuring the business meets its regulatory obligations. You will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to strengthen internal controls, support audits and keep the business ahead of an evolving regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing the end-to-end delivery of annual compliance audits, including coordination with external auditors and documentation of outcomes
- Facilitating risk workshops and maintaining business-wide risk registers
- Conducting risk assessments across the organisation and recommending practical improvements to controls and processes
- Preparing risk reporting for senior leadership on a regular basis
- Supporting investor due diligence and responding to information requests from external parties
- Managing licensing obligations and applications under relevant regulatory frameworks
- Maintaining and monitoring the AML/CTF program
- Drafting,



reviewing and updating compliance policies and conducting internal assurance reviews
- Monitoring regulatory developments and implementing required changes across the business
- Overseeing compliance attestations and internal governance activities

Key Requirements

- 5–7 years' experience in a risk and compliance role, ideally within financial services, property, funds management or a similarly regulated environment
- Solid understanding of AFSL obligations, AML/CTF requirements and compliance audit processes
- Proven ability to build and maintain risk frameworks and lead audit activity
- Experience supporting investor due diligence and responding to external information requests
- Comfort working with data and digital tools to support compliance monitoring and reporting
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Finance or a related field
- Strong communicator with the ability to engage and influence across all levels of an organisation
- Pragmatic and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
