Summary
As the Assistant Principal (Transformative and Strategic Operations) and member of the College Leadership Team, you will be involved in all aspect of leadership across P-12, and actively engage in Prep-12 college life while advocating strongly in the spirit of Catholic education and Oblate Charism.
You will have a shared responsibility for the strategic direction of the college in relation to teaching and learning and the transformative learning agenda of the college including all areas of teaching, learning, pedagogy, and wellbeing.

About the opportunity
Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) invites applications for this School Senior Leadership position with the capability to support the Principal in:
- building the religious life of the school and a vibrant Catholic identity within the school community;
- growing the engagement, progress, achievement and wellbeing of each student in the school; and
- building a sustainable school community, ensuring stewardship of resources with transparency, accountability and compliance.
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Providing analysed and purposeful data to assist in improving student outcomes and pedagogical change to other Assistant Principals, Middle Leaders, and Pastoral Leaders.
- Developing annual schedule of Staff Collaboratives (Staff meeting schedules)
- Coordinating and implementing staff Professional Learning.
- Supporting the college strategic direction around transformative learning and wellbeing.
- Actively engaging the use of transformative coherence makers (collaboration, communication, critical reflection, and creativity) to discern and inform decision making across the college and support effective change.
- Networking with QCAA around senior schooling practices and processes.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Experience as an Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal Religious Education, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus or Principal, or a senior role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools, or equivalent experience
- Experience in teaching, and leading the teaching of, religious education.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
- For this position you are required to be Catholic (or a faith partner of one of our ecumenical schools).
