About the Role:

Roster and Location:

- Afternoon Shift
- Monday - Thursday 2:30pm - 11pm Friday 12pm - 6pm
- Afternoon Shift Hourly Rate Range $59.91 - $64.20
- Based in Paget, Mackay (Commercial Ave)

Responsibilities:

As a Machinist at Austchrome, you’ll be involved in manufacturing and reclamation of hydraulic components using:

- Manual Lathes, Horizontal and Vertical Bores and Cylindrical grinders.
- CNC Lathes and Horizontal and Vertical Borers running Fanuc controllers.
- Reading and interpreting complex engineering and CAD drawings to produce jobs to specifications.
- Conducting in-process quality checks with micrometers and other precision measuring tools.
- Collaborating in a team setting with experienced tradespeople across machining, fabrication, fitting and plating.
- Take responsibility for maintaining and improving a safe working environment and following all policies, procedures and safe work instructions.
