We are seeking a reliable, organised and self-motivated Parish Housekeeper to support the day-to-day cleanliness and presentation of our Parish facilities and Presbytery.

This permanent part-time role offers up to 6 hours per week and is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, welcoming and well-presented environments.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Parish Housekeeper plays an important role in ensuring a consistently high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping across the Presbytery, Parish offices, meeting rooms, St Mary’s Hall and resource centre.

The successful applicant will work independently and manage routine cleaning, laundry and housekeeping duties.

EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA

- High standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Able to stand for long periods, bend and lift and undertake manual work
- Sound planning, time-management and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to multi-task and work quickly and efficiently
- Attention to detail and quality of work




- Can exercise initiative and positive judgment
- Is honest, punctual and reliable
- Is discrete and maintains confidentiality
- Can work autonomously and be responsible/accountable for own work
- A demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of the Catholic Church
- A willingness to be accountable for work performance

QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous experience as a Housekeeper or Cleaner (Desirable)
