SigTech Electrical is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our growing team based in the Coomera Marine precinct on the Gold Coast.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading by example, mentoring others, and delivering exceptional workmanship on some of Australia's most advanced marine electrical installations.

Marine industry experience is highly regarded but not essential. If you're an experienced electrician with strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you'll oversee daily operations on a variety of marine electrical projects while remaining actively involved on the tools.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the high standard our customers expect.

This role includes:

- Leading and mentoring our Apprentices
- Coordinating daily workloads and project scheduling
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and boat builders
- Managing project progress and ensuring deadlines are achieved
- Assisting with quoting, material planning and job documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement within the business
- Leading by example through professionalism, safety and workmanship

What You'll Be Working On

Every day is different.

Projects include:





- Advanced marine navigation systems
- Radar, sonar and communication equipment
- Lithium battery systems and DC power distribution
- Solar charging, alternator and inverter systems
- Generator installations and AC electrical systems
- Off-grid electrical systems for cruising vessels
- New vessel fit-outs and refits
- Diagnostics, fault finding and repairs
- Custom electrical system design and upgrades

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a natural leader who enjoys helping others succeed while maintaining exceptional technical standards.

Ideally you'll have:

- Current Electrical Licence
- Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Robust organisational and time management abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to motivate and mentor apprentices
- Strong understanding of safe work practices
- Professional, reliable and positive attitude
- Open Driver Licence (essential)
