Your role in our team
- Approach all tasks and situations with a Safety First mindset.
- Maximise system performance and up-time through effective execution of all maintenance-related activitiesInvestigate and resolve system material flow issues.
- Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision.
- Support Production Team through basic fault correction coaching and troubleshooting.
- Assist in the installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components.
- Facilitate continuous improvement activities through broad system knowledge and site-specific enhancements.
- Qualified Electricians (Qld) / Mechanics / Fitter and Turners / Diesel Mechanics etc.
- Experience maintaining material handling systems in a light industry or distribution centre environment advantageous.
- Strong electrical skills (3-Phase, 415V, DC and 24V controls) and mechanical skills (Preventative Maintenance / Breakdowns, on conveyors, belts, rollers, cranes, bearings etc.)
- Familiarity with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears)
- Familiarity with control technology (PLC/controls/inverters)
- Knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring
- Comfort working with wide assortment of computer systems
- Ability to work in and foster a team environment
- Meets the physical fitness requirements including:- Frequent walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time- Working at heights of up to 30 metres (wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE)- Lifting, pulling and pushing up to 25kgs unassisted
