Mainfreight Wharf Brisbane (the container transport division of the Mainfreight Group) based at the Port of Brisbane, is currently looking for our next Fleet Allocator to join our growing team.

As a Fleet Allocator, you will play a key role in coordinating our fleet operations between Port Terminals, our valued customers, and other sites including empty container parks. You will be responsible for planning and executing daily movements, ensuring on‑time delivery performance, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations and Mainfreight standards.

While previous wharf allocation experience is advantageous, it is not essential. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to embracing the Mainfreight Way.

Key Responsibilities

- Planning daily container movements and preparing the following day's schedule
- Coordinating and communicating with drivers throughout the day
- Managing equipment allocation
- Booking containers into empty container parks and port terminals
- Communicating proactively with customers when delivery issues arise
- Working collaboratively with our operational team to achieve service outcomes
