Renal Supportive Care (Clinical Nurse Specialist Gde 2) - Temp FT

The ideal candidate is a motivated and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 who is committed to delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred specialist care. They will work collaboratively with patients, families, carers and the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes, demonstrate excellent communication and clinical skills, and be dedicated to providing evidence-based care that supports the individual needs and goals of those they serve.

Selection Criteria

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience working in the clinical area of the employees specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in providing complex care in the relevant field.
- Demonstrated ability to provide protected compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs.
- Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.
- Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of advanced evidenced based nursing care.
- Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
