Peechelba Beef, part of the ICM Agribusiness Group, is a 27,000 head feedlot located in North-East Victoria feeding cattle for a number of domestic and long fed programs. Due to strong cattle feeding demand, we are currently seeking experienced Pen Cleaning Machinery Operators to join our team. The Machinery Operators will work under the Pen Cleaning Supervisor to ensure the overall presentation of the cattle pens are maintained for animal health and welfare, as well as processing of manure for composting sales.
With a motivated, hands-on approach, applicants will demonstrate good communication skills and be able to work well in a team workplace. You will also follow all safety and quality protocols and be absolutely committed to animal welfare.
Applicants should have experience in:
Safe operation of machinery in all environments - at least 2 years
Basic machinery servicing and maintenance (e.g. greasing bearings)
Following Safe Work Procedures and OHS protocols
Working as part of a hard-working team
Effective communication
Pay rates as per Workplace Agreement apply.
Must be available to work some weekends as required.
