Machine Operator/Factory Hand - Night Shift

Repeta is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator/Factory Hand to join our night shift manufacturing team in Riverstone, NSW. This is a 3-month trial into a permanent full-time position where you will play a vital role in our production operations, ensuring efficient and safe machine operation whilst maintaining our high standards of quality and output. As a Machine Operator/Factory Hand, you will be part of a small team responsible for operating manufacturing equipment in the plastic resin industry, preparing feedstock, troubleshooting minor issues.

What you'll be doing

- Operating and monitoring production machinery (plastic extrusion) according to established procedures and specifications
- Operating forklift for material preparation and handling
- Performing routine maintenance checks and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Inspecting products for defects and ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Recording production data and maintaining accurate logs of machine operations
- Identifying and reporting equipment malfunctions or irregularities to supervisory staff




- Following all safety protocols and contributing to a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Assisting with setup and changeover of machinery between production runs
- Collaborating with the production team to meet daily and weekly targets
- Assisting maintenance staff with repairs where needed

What we're looking for

- Experience as a Machine Operator/Factory Hand or in a similar manufacturing role preferred
- Forklift license is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for basic equipment issues
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
