Internal and External Communications Manager

We're looking for an experienced Internal & External Communications Manager to lead strategic communications across the ALAND Group.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on communications professional who thrives on creating compelling stories, building trusted relationships, and delivering communications that inspire employees, strengthen our brand, and enhance our reputation.

Working closely with senior leaders across marketing, corporate affairs, sales, development, construction, and people and culture, you'll own the communications strategy from planning through to execution—helping to elevate ALAND reputation internally and externally.

About the Role

As the Internal & External Communications Manager, you'll own the planning and execution of ALAND's communications strategy, ensuring our messaging is clear, consistent, and engaging across all internal and external channels.

From executive communications and media relations to employee engagement and project storytelling, you'll play a key role in shaping how our business is communicated to employees, customers, industry stakeholders, and the broader community.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, making it ideal for someone who enjoys developing communications plans while also creating high-quality content that delivers impact.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and deliver ALAND's internal and external communications strategy aligned to business objectives.
- Create engaging content across multiple channels, including newsletters, intranet, website, social media, media releases, executive communications, and corporate publications.
- Partner with senior leaders to develop speeches, presentations,



leadership messages, and key business communications.
- Lead internal communication initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, culture, and organisational alignment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media and industry stakeholders while managing media enquiries and public relations opportunities.
- Identify and promote stories that showcase ALAND's developments, sustainability initiatives, community partnerships, project milestones, people, and business achievements.
- Collaborate with Development, Construction, Sales, Marketing, and People & Culture teams to ensure consistent messaging across the organisation.
- Support communications for project launches, corporate announcements, awards, events, and key business initiatives.
- Assist with reputation management, crisis communications, and issue management when required.
- Maintain ALAND's brand voice and messaging across all communication platforms.
- Monitor communication performance and provide insights and recommendations to continuously improve engagement and effectiveness.

About You

You're a strategic and creative communicator who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment where no two days are the same.

You know how to simplify complex information into engaging,



audience-focused content and are confident working with senior executives and cross‑functional teams. You're equally comfortable developing communications strategies as you are writing compelling copy and delivering campaigns from concept to completion.

You'll Bring

- 5+ years' experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, or a similar communications role.
- Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience developing and delivering integrated communications strategies and campaigns.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to partner with senior executives.
- Experience managing media relations and supporting reputation management.
- Knowledge of internal communications platforms, digital channels, and social media.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline.
