We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our thriving orthodontic practices in Port Macquarie and Taree, NSW. As a part-time Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Orthodontist and Oral Health Therapists whilst providing exceptional patient care.

What you'll be doing

- Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments
- Greeting and welcoming patients, and ensuring a positive patient experience
- Providing chairside assistance, including preparing materials and instruments
- Ensuring the clinic and waiting area are clean, organised and well-stocked
- Preparing appliances in our lab
- Facilitating the flow of the practice by managing patient records and scheduling
- Assisting during patient consultations and treatments
- Undertaking administrative tasks as required

Note: Weekly travel to Taree is required and occasional travel for team building and community activities will be required.

What we're looking for

- A passion for dentistry and a desire to provide exceptional patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients of all ages
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced,



team-oriented environment
- Someone seeking a career in the dental sector with a desire to achieve a Certificate III and then Certifcate IV in Dental Assisting
- A positive, friendly and enthusiastic attitude
