Family owned and operated, PremiAir Hire is a fast-growing Hire/Service company that specialises in the dry-hire, service and sales of equipment including air compressors, generators and distribution, portable lighting towers, message boards and traffic management products (temporary road barriers, road plates, TMA’s and Utes) as well as providing on-site refuelling.

Given our strong business growth and expansion, we have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our busy facility located in Eastern Creek.

Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, the main responsibility of the role is to service and maintain diesel-driven hire equipment including Compressors, Generators, Light Towers and a variety of vehicles and trucks.

Duties

Repair and maintenance of hire equipment to PremiAir and OEM standards.





Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing on equipment both in the workshop and on customer sites.

Other appropriate duties as required/directed

Skills and Experience

You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an"I will make it happen"attitude to get the job done. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Experience working on trucks and heavy vehicles

Strong mechanical, fault finding and problem-solving skills

Can work unsupervised and listen and follow instructions

Has a strong team mind-set and a willingness to learn current products

Can work a reasonable amount overtime, if/when required and be a part of our on-call roster

Is reliable, punctual with excellent work ethics

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Current HR drivers’ licence and forklift ticket

Construction Induction (White Card)

Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicant will be appointed primarily based on attitude.
