Aspley Family Medical Practice – Aspley QLD

Our well-established General Practice located in Aspley, is supported by 3 General Practitioners, visiting specialists, allied health practitioners and administrative staff.

We provide a respectful, positive and friendly work workplace where you will be recognised and rewarded for your hard work. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support to patients and doctors.

Availability:

Shifts are rostered, Monday to Friday, 9 - 4pm

We may consider 4 days a week for the right applicant

Immediate start on offer

Daily duties will include:

- Childhood and adult immunisations.
- Covid vaccinations.
- Ordering and monitoring of medical supplies and vaccines.
- Chronic disease management - care plans, health assessments.
- Pre-employment medical evaluations.
- Assisting GPs with minor procedures- Implanon removals/insertion, biopsies, etc.
- Removal of sutures, wound care,



and dressings.
- Daily maintenance of the treatment room, stock control, sterilization, and care of medical instruments and equipment.
- Management of sample medication supplies.
- Assist Practice Manager with relevant accreditation requirements.

Essential Requirements are:

- AHPRA Registration.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize and triage patients.
- Experience using Best Practice is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to maintain and supervise cold chain management.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
- Proficient computer and admin skills.
