Senior Product Manager (EL2 Equivalent) - Baseline - Canberra/Australia any where with hybrid
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to support a major Federal Government transformation program.
In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to deliver recent initiatives and enhance end-to-end business value streams. You will lead product discovery, prioritise initiatives, shape product roadmaps and ensure solutions deliver measurable business and user outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to define product direction and priorities.
- Lead product discovery, analysis and solution refinement.
- Develop and manage product roadmaps and prioritised backlogs.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes, services and digital capabilities.
- Balance user needs, business priorities and delivery constraints.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
- Manage product risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.
- Communicate product progress and outcomes to senior stakeholders.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Product Manager within complex enterprise or government environments.
- Experience leading product discovery, roadmap planning and backlog prioritisation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Experience working with Agile multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to balance user needs, business value and technical feasibility.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capability.
Highly Desirable
- Federal Government experience.
- Experience working across digital transformation or enterprise platforms.
- Understanding of value stream management and business process improvement.
- Baseline Security Clearance or ability to obtain.
