SSI SCHAEFER is supporting maintenance operations at a major automated distribution centre for Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) and is seeking a Trades Assistant / Fault Chaser to join the onsite team at Richlands.
This is a permanent position working a 24/7 rotating roster consisting of 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for supporting the resident maintenance team within a live automated warehouse setting.
Attend system faults and alarms across automated equipment
Perform basic fault checks, inspections, resets and rectification tasks within your level of training
Assist Mechanical and Electrical Technicians with preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance
Support shutdowns, system recovery and operational stabilisation activities
Maintain records in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Assist with spare parts management, cycle counts and inventory control
Participate in team meetings, toolbox talks and shift handovers
Support system reliability, safety and operational performance
Experience, Knowledge, Skill & Abilities
2 + years TA’s experience (desirable)
Must have experience using computers and technology to complete maintenance records, update systems, and accurately enter data. (essential)
Mechanical aptitude and interest in automated systems
Ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to workplace safety
Exposure to automated warehouse, manufacturing or industrial environments (desirable)
Experience using a CMMS system (desirable)
Mechanical or electrical aptitude, pre-apprenticeship training or technical studies (desirable)
Qualifications / Certifications
Year 12 Certificate (preferable but not essential) or equivalent
Mechanical or Electrical Pre-Apprenticeship (desirable)
Working at heights training / experience (desirable)
White Card (desirable)
