Join Our Team at St Aidan's Anglican Girls' School
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Relief Teacher to undertake a five-week casual teaching contract in Year 5, commencing 17 August 2026. Following this contract, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to join our team of relief teachers for ongoing casual teaching opportunities across the school.

The Role
This position involves teaching a Year 5 class for a five-week period, delivering engaging and well-planned learning experiences, maintaining a positive classroom culture and supporting students to achieve their best.
Following the contract period, ongoing relief teaching opportunities will be available, providing flexibility and the chance to become a valued member of our school community.
Qualifications and Expertise
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A recognised teaching qualification;
- Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers;
- A strong understanding of teaching and learning in the primary school;
- The ability to create a nurturing, inclusive and engaging classroom environment;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; and
- A commitment to contributing positively to a team setting and broader school life
