We're looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Rockhampton office and play a key role in delivering high-impact projects across Queensland. You'll work alongside experienced geotechnical and environmental professionals on a wide variety of urban development and infrastructure projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Planning and managing geotechnical site investigations
- Soil and rock logging, laboratory testing programs, and in-situ field testing
- Conducting geotechnical analysis using tools like PLAXIS, Geostudio, Wallap, etc. with assistance from senior engineers
- Preparing high-quality technical reports
- Supporting construction phase services such as piling and earthworks supervision
- Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships
- Expect a mix of field and office work,
with the chance to contribute across all project stages — from investigation to analysis and design.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering (or similar)
- 2-3 years' industry experience preferred
- Solid understanding of geotechnical principles, laboratory and field testing
- Experience with geotechnical software
- Strong communication and reporting skills
