With over 35 years’ experience, Hinterland Aviation is a leading General Aviation airline and charter operator in Far North Queensland. An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual with exceptional customer service skills to join our Operations team at our Townsville base.
Reporting to the Townsville Base Manager, core functions of this role include:
- Loading and unloading aircraft, including hot turnarounds, in accordance with weight and balance guidelines
- Preparation of flight manifests and aircraft dispatch in an efficient and timely manner in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Customer service – providing accurate information to customers on itineraries, fares and fare rules
- Utilise aviation software Takeflite to book RPT reservations
- Passenger check-in procedures
- Receipt and dispatch of freight
- Removal and installation of aircraft seats when required in accordance with AMO procedures
- Work shifts will rotate between our Townsville and Palm Island terminals
Experience in the aviation industry is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. To be successful in this role you must have excellent communication skills, be customer focused, have a “can do” attitude and be able to work effectively in a team workplace.
