Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will develop practical skills through a competency‑based program that blends formal training with real‑world, on‑the‑job learning.



You will take pride in maintaining and enhancing the Riverway Sporting Precinct, helping to ensure this premier community and recreation destination remains safe, well-maintained, and beautifully presented.

Working across the precinct's sporting fields, landscaped areas, public spaces and facilities, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming setting for local sporting clubs, residents and visitors to enjoy year-round. This apprenticeship includes completing a 3‑year Certificate III in Parks and Gardens through TAFE North Queensland, providing a nationally recognised qualification and a strong foundation for a rewarding career in horticulture and landscape maintenance.
