Kingaroy Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a four-week contract from 3 August to 30 August 2026. Based in Kingaroy, Queensland, this role offers the chance to work in a dynamic emergency setting with up to 80 hours per fortnight.

The position is remunerated at AUD58.95 to AUD76.20 per hour, with travel reimbursement from Brisbane capped at $200 each way and accommodation provided.

Preferred Requirements





- Demonstrated emergency nursing experience with strong triage and patient assessment skills
- Competence in cannulation and emergency procedures
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Experience working in rural or remote healthcare settings
- Ability to work as a team leader and support colleagues in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated expertise in emergency nursing
- Additional certifications in trauma or critical care nursing are advantageous
