Reporting to the Principal, you'll undertake asbestos assessment, site inspections, sampling and field work across commercial, civil, industrial and government projects.
Day to day you will:
- Conduct asbestos inspections, surveys (management, refurbishment/demolition) and re‑inspections
- Be onsite during asbestos removal work and issue clearance certificates on completion
- Undertake air monitoring and control/clearance monitoring
- Prepare Hazardous Materials Surveys
- Write clear, well structured technical reports
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders on site
About you (essential)
- Strong knowledge of the WHS Act & Regulation, the Asbestos COPs, and relevant standards
- Current driver's licence; willingness to travel across Australia at times for projects
- Meticulous reporting and a safety‑first mindset
hazmat or contaminated‑land experience
- Defence / rail site inductions or the ability to obtain them
