Independent Disability Support Worker (ABN Contractor)

We're looking for experienced, reliable and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our network as independent contractors.

About the Role

As an independent contractor, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to NDIS participants across a range of settings.

Responsibilities include:

- Providing one-on-one support to NDIS participants.
- Assisting with personal care (where required).
- Supporting community access, social participation and recreational activities.
- Assisting with daily living tasks and building participant independence.
- Supporting participants to achieve their individual goals.
- Completing accurate shift notes and documentation in accordance with the NDIS Practice Standards.
- Communicating professionally with participants, families and our coordination team.
- Maintaining participant confidentiality and promoting participant choice and control.





Contractor Requirements

Applicants must have (or be willing to obtain):

- Active ABN
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Public Liability Insurance
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Valid Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable, roadworthy vehicle
- Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance
- Smartphone with internet access
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine person-centred approach and commitment to delivering high-quality supports
