Job Description

VRUNDAVAN VIHARI ENTERPRISES PTY LTD T/A IBOLT FENCING The purpose of the Accountant position at Vrundavan Vihari Enterprises Pty Ltd trading as IBOLT FENCING is to manage and support the company’s financial accounting, reporting, taxation, budgeting and compliance functions. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring financial performance, supporting effective cash flow and cost management, maintaining internal controls, and providing timely financial information to management to support sound business and operational decisions.

The accountant will manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities, including maintaining accounting systems, preparing financial statements, budgets and taxation returns, monitoring income, expenditure, operating costs and cash flow, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and statutory requirements. The role will also assist with financial analysis, audits, taxation matters, internal controls, financial risk assessment and capital investment reviews, while liaising with financial institutions, advisers and other stakeholders as required. The accountant will provide accurate and timely financial advice to management, identify financial trends and variances, support business planning, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s accounting processes and financial management systems.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist in the development and implementation of budgeting procedures, financial policies, and accounting practices.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for review and presentation to directors, management, shareholders, regulatory authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct financial reviews and investigations, undertake audit activities, prepare detailed findings, and provide professional advice on business acquisitions and disposals, mergers, capital raising,



potential fraud, insolvency matters, and taxation requirements.
- Analyse organisational operating costs, revenue, expenditure, and financial performance to identify trends, variances, and areas requiring attention.
- Review financial information and reporting processes to provide assurance regarding accuracy, reliability, and compliance with applicable legislation and statutory requirements.
- Provide financial and taxation guidance relating to business structures, strategic plans, financial arrangements, and day-to-day business operations.
- Prepare and review taxation returns and related documentation for individuals and business entities in accordance with applicable taxation requirements.
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, investment providers, and brokers to establish and administer appropriate funds management and financial arrangements.
- Implement, maintain, and improve accounting systems and provide guidance on the selection, configuration, and effective use of computerised accounting software.
- Establish and monitor internal financial control systems to safeguard organisational assets, maintain financial integrity, and support compliance requirements.
- Assess cash flow projections and evaluate financial risks associated with proposed capital investment projects to support informed investment and management decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant post-qualification experience as an Accountant or in a closely related accounting role.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards,



taxation legislation, GST, BAS, payroll, financial reporting and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or similar accounting systems, together with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare financial reports, budgets, cash flow forecasts and management reports independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with management, external accountants, auditors and government authorities.
