Grange Road Medical Services – Eastern Heights QLD

We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team at Grange Road Medical Services' practice in Eastern Heights, QLD and Hunter Street Medial practice in Brassall, QLD.

This is a casual position that will involve providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our patients and clinicians. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth running of our busy medical practice.

The successful candidate to work approximately 34+hrs per week, with option for the successful candidate to be offered a permanent role after the agreed probation period.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting and welcoming patients in a warm and friendly manner
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls
- Processing patient registrations and updating medical records
- Collecting payments and issuing receipts
- Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area
- Providing general administrative support to the practice team

What we're looking for





- Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of patients
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in using medical software and computer systems
- A friendly, qualified and compassionate attitude
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
