We are excited to welcome applications for a Clinical Quality & Development Manager to join our team at our Head Office in Bundall, working a hybrid pattern of a minimum 3 days per week in-office.
This is a senior leadership role open to registered allied-health clinicians — Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, or Speech Pathologists, so we're especially keen to hear from experienced Clinicians who love mentoring, developing others, and driving clinical excellence at scale.
This is a leadership role for a Clinician who thrives on people leadership and clinical governance. You'll lead our Regional Clinical Supervisor (RCS) and Early Career Supervisor (ECS) teams, owning their performance and development, while keeping a foot in clinical practice with your own caseload one day a week.
As Clinical Quality & Development Manager, you'll begin with a review of our supervision line, with the authority to reset its frameworks, expectations and support then own clinical governance across the business on an ongoing basis: quality, compliance, incident review and clinical risk, ensuring our standards are robust, current, and consistently applied across all disciplines. You'll balance your week between management (a minimum of 3 days) and hands‑on clinical work (around 1 day, Tuesday), so you stay connected to the clinical floor while leading from the front.
What does the role involve?
- Line‑managing the RCS and ECS teams — owning their performance, output and accountability against clear KPIs, including utilisation, documentation quality,
supervision quality and report‑review timeliness
- Reviewing and resetting the supervision line's frameworks, expectations and support, then owning clinical governance across the business in line with NDIS, Aged Care Quality Standards, and AHPRA/SPA requirements — extending oversight to Exercise Physiology, Podiatry and Dietetics alongside PT, OT and SP
- Rebuilding and maintaining the frameworks that underpin clinical supervision — standards, cadence, and caseload‑to‑supervisor ratios
- Driving development and upskilling programs, including new graduate pathways, skills matrices, and PD spend across the business
- Running the team's meeting rhythm — fortnightly group meetings and 1:1s — and mentoring the RCS team so their support aligns to business needs
- Acting as the senior escalation point for complex clinical matters, resolving risk and escalating to the Head of Operations where required
- Maintaining your own clinical caseload one day a week, modelling best practice and creating observation and education opportunities for your team
How does GenPhysio support our leaders?
- A genuine seat at the leadership table — you'll play a central role in driving GenPhysio's broader business objectives,
working closely with Team Managers, Client Services and People & Culture
- Backed by a collaborative, values‑driven culture, you won't be building governance and capability alone
- Ongoing development to keep growing both your leadership and clinical skills
- The autonomy to review, rebuild and shape frameworks that will define clinical quality across the business
