Conquest is a real estate developer builder with offices in Sydney, Australia and London, UK. With over 20 years of experience delivering institutional real estate across three core sectors, Residential, Retail and Hotels, the firm is strategically positioned to capitalise on opportunities in these markets.

Due to our exponential growth, we are looking to grow our in-house legal team with an experienced Senior Lawyer who has proven experience in property, development, and commercial law.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of property law, development and commercial law with advanced experience in both front-end and back-end aspects.
- Experience in property development matters gained within a recognised Property law team, as well as general commercial law.
- Drafting and negotiating documentation and contracts.
- Prepare matters for conferences including drafting legal documents and managing general correspondence.
- Attention to detail is key and managing all key dates.
- Ensure that contracts are comprehensive, explicit, and legally sound.
- Efficiently coordinate legal appointments and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, experts, and regulatory bodies.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and other external stakeholders, through effective communication and legal expertise.




- Contribute to the business's knowledge base by developing learning resources, including precedents and best practices and training, supporting the growth and development of the team.

What We're Looking For

- Tertiary qualification in Law.
- 5+ years' experience specialising in the key areas of Property, Development and Commercial matters.
- Ability to take on ad hoc tasks and have great attention to detail.
- Ability to work alongside the Legal Team and the Commercial Team on other legal matters and a range of general matters.
- Ability to pivot and change with priorities and be self-motivated.
- Be able to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
- Driven on a'merit-based' culturei.e. recognising effort & results!
- Self-sufficient with day-to-day operations of files/client management
