Job Description

MIchel Hanna Enterprises Pty Ltd MICHEL HANNA ENTERPRISES PTY LIMITED t/a Kids World Kindy is an inclusive, play-based early learning centre with a robust school readiness focus, sustainability, and genuine family partnerships. We are currently seeking a full-time Early Childhood Educator (Child Care Worker) to join our team, with the role based in Bomaderry, NSW.

This position is 38 hours per week, and the ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience and hold at least a relevant diploma qualification. A market-competitive salary of $79,000 to $84,000, plus superannuation, is on offer. Benefits Task & responsibilities:

- Provide attentive care and effective supervision of children throughout the day in indoor and outdoor environments, ensuring a safe, supportive and engaging setting that promotes children’s health, wellbeing and development.
- Prepare, set up and maintain materials, equipment and learning areas for play-based educational and recreational experiences, ensuring environments are clean, safe and appropriately resourced.
- Implement and participate in age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning, social development and engagement, including reading, storytelling, music, creative arts and outdoor play.
- Guide children’s behaviour using positive, developmentally appropriate strategies that support inclusion, emotional regulation and respectful interactions.
- Supervise children’s daily routines,



including arrivals and departures, meals, rest periods, toileting and hygiene practices, ensuring children’s comfort, dignity and safety at all times.
- Support children’s health needs by following approved hygiene practices, administering first aid and medication in accordance with service policies, and completing accurate documentation and incident records.
- Observe, document and share information about children’s interests, participation and progress to support program planning and effective communication with families and the educational team.
- Support the day-to-day operation of the education and care service by assisting with compliance-related practices in line with the National Quality Framework, National Law and National Regulations, including health, safety, wellbeing and educational program requirements, under the direction of the approved provider, nominated supervisor or room leader.
- Work collaboratively with other educators and the room leader to maintain appropriate supervision of children, support daily routines and contribute to a safe, organised and engaging learning environment. Assist with basic service records and communication with families as required, including recording children’s attendance, daily information, observations and routine updates in accordance with service procedures.
