Our small but high-impact Workplace Relations team is the first port of call when members need practical, reliable advice they can trust.We're looking for a Workplace Relations Advisor to join that team.
This is a genuine advisory role from day one - you'll be giving real advice to real members on real problems, with the backing and mentorship of our Director of Workplace Relations, not sitting on the sidelines.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Director of Workplace Relations, you'll provide timely, practical workplace relations and medico-legal advice to AMA (NSW) members, including on:Visiting Medical Officer Determinations and NSW Public Hospital AwardsThe Fair Work Act, relevant awards, and employer obligationsDispute resolution and grievance proceduresPerformance management, redundancy and termination processes in private practiceContracts, workplace investigations, and policy and procedure adviceYou'll also prepare correspondence and letters of advice, present at webinars and training sessions, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the advice AMA (NSW)
