Role: Intensive Therapuetic Care Worker (Significant Disabilities)
Employment Type: Casual & Permanent Part Time
Location: Central Coast
As a Therapeutic Youth Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting a young person with an intellectual disability, PTSD, and developmental trauma who presents with complex and high-intensity behaviours. Using a trauma-informed and therapeutic approach, you will build a safe, consistent, and trusting relationship that promotes emotional regulation, wellbeing, and personal growth
Our residential homes operate 24/7,
therefore it is essential that successful applicants are able and willing to work a roster which regularly includes afternoon, sleepover and weekend shifts. We will not be able to consider applicants who cannot fulfil this requirement.

Role requirements:
- Hold or be actively completing a Diploma in Community Services or Higher in a related field (or higher) (Please note: a qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience)
- Experience supporting Children, Young People and/or People with disability
- A current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certificate
Successful candidates will be required to explicit probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, NSW Working with Children Check and NSW Residential Care Workers Register check.
