About the Role:

We are seeking a Cleaning and Laundry Attendant to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis.

Available Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

You will be based at our Burdett House, located at 65 Burdett Street Hornsby NSW 2077.

Burdett House is seeking enthusiastic Cleaning and Laundry Attendant who have a positive attitude and are passionate to work with the elderly. The suitable candidate will work within an established, dynamic and efficient team. This is a great opportunity to work in a growing industry and in a rewarding role.

Desired Skills & Experience:

- Police Check (National Police Certificate) (Essential)
- At least 1 Year Experience as a cleaner and/or laundry attendant




- Prior experience as a cleaner and/or laundry attendant within aged care highly preferred
- Receive, sort, wash, dry, iron, fold, and distribute laundry efficiently
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work well with staff
- Cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning surfaces such as windows and doors
- Commitment to providing quality services to residents
- Knowledge of infection control procedures
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Genuine interests of care
