Our highly skilled team comprising of Paramedics, Registered Nurses, Emergency Response Technicians, and Medical Consultants aim to deliver comprehensive on-site and outreach healthcare and occupational safety services through an integrated, through a streamlined and coordinated approach to care.
The role
Our excitingpositionsoffer Paramedics the ability to explore opportunities in Queensland’s coal mining industry. Joining our diverse team of highly skilled mine site clinicians will diversify your skills and career experience in the mining sector.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the site medical centre and working in accordance with our Queensland Health Drug Licence conditions encompassing S3 to S8 and over-the-counter medications
Managing a wide range of presentations and liaising with our emergency medicine doctors and retrieval services where necessary
Providing high quality occupational healthcare including the delivery of health and wellbeing campaigns, toolbox talks and health and safety education
Undertaking administrative tasks including maintaining clinical records and other clinic operational functions
What you'll need to be successful
You’ll need a reasonable fitness level, a presentable appearance, have a goal-oriented solid work ethic with a patient-centred approach and the ability to work autonomously.
The following are mandatory:
Current Registration with AHPRA with no restriction
Open Class Manual Driver’s Licence
To work on a Queensland coal mine site, the following pre-requisites apply:
Coal Board Medical (Rescue & Underground)
Drug and Alcohol Testing Certification (HLTPAT005)
Standard 11 Certification
Low Voltage Rescue Certification (UETTDRRF04)
CPR, First Aid, Advanced First Aid, Advanced Resuscitation Certification
Certificate of Clinical Currency

Pre-requisite training is provided prior to commencing shifts and role specific training is provided during the first 6 months of employment.
Maintain AHPRA registration under our Clinical Governance Framework with built in CPD and in-service training
Opportunities to qualify as a trainer and deliver a range of courses to Coal Mine Workers
