We're a Sydney builder specialising in complex, high-end residential renovations and remedial building works. We partner with homeowners, architects, engineers, and strata managers to execute approved designs, manage risk, and deliver compliant, high-quality outcomes.
Our reputation is built on transparent communication, disciplined systems, respect for design documentation, and a finish our clients are proud to live with. From architect-led luxury renovations across Sydney’s eastern suburbs to waterproofing, structural repair, and compliance-led remediation, we protect the design intent and control the process from start to handover.
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of these projects. If you’re a hands-on leader who takes pride in premium-quality work and clean, well-run sites, we want to hear from you.
The Role
As our Site Manager, you will take ownership of projects on site — managing trades, safety, quality, and program while keeping delivery on track. You’ll work across both sides of our business: high-end residential renovations with premium finishes and fine detailing, and remedial works including waterproofing, structural repair, facade, and defect rectification.
You’ll work closely with the Project Director, our office staff, and the architects, engineers, and consultants on each job. This is a hands-on role, and you’ll be expected to get on the tools as required.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site construction activities and ensure work is carried out in accordance with project plans, specifications, and timelines
- Manage and supervise site personnel, subcontractors, and trades to ensure productivity, safety, and quality of work
- Monitor project budgets, track expenditure, and report on financial performance to management
- Conduct daily site inspections and maintain comprehensive site documentation, including progress reports and records
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies at all times
- Co-ordinate the delivery and storage of materials and equipment, optimising site logistics
- Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly to maintain project momentum and minimise delays
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and address concerns
- Maintain quality control standards and conduct inspections to ensure work meets contractual requirements
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports, including schedules, budgets, and safety documentation
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor on commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities with the capacity to motivate and supervise diverse teams
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans, and specifications
- Sound understanding of health and safety legislation, including Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and site safety protocols
- Demonstrated financial acumen and experience managing project budgets and costs
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Problem-solving ability and sound judgment in making decisions on site
- Relevant qualifications such as a Construction Management qualification, WHS Certificate IV, or equivalent certification
- Current driver's licence and willingness to work on-site in varying weather conditions
- Preferred: Experience with project management software and digital site management tools
