The Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Storeperson / Warehouse Assistant to join our Brisbane warehouse team in Oxley. Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, you will play an important role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse.
This is a permanent full-time position offering stable Monday-to-Friday hours, a supportive team environment, and long-term job security with a well-established Australian business.
Any experience in welding or industrial supplies is a genuine bonus, but not essential. We will train the right person.
What You Will Be Doing
- Picking and packing orders accurately to meet daily deadlines
- Receiving and despatching parts and equipment
- Coordinate and assist with weekly stock transfers to other Torchmaster branches
- Assist with stock management, including stocktakes and inventory accuracy
- Assembling components into finished stock items when required
- Keeping the warehouse clean, protected, and well-organised
What We Are Looking For
- Previous warehouse or stores experience preferred.
- Valid forklift licence
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling - including lifting up to 25 kg
- Able to work independently and manage your own time
- Good attention to detail; accuracy matters
- Basic computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
