The role involves working alongside our pharmacists and helping to drive professional services including general dispensing, counselling, vaccinations, leave certificates, dose administration aids, plus many other clinical services (medicines administration, sleep apnoea, holter monitor, wound care) available depending on your interests.

The Capital Chemist Intern Support Program is available to support pharmacy interns through monthly meetings that focus on developing practical workplace skills, enhancing qualified confidence, and preparing for the intern written and oral examinations.

During your intern year, there will be weekly allocated time off the floor to spend with your preceptor to help train and guide you through your studies.

As an intern, you are expected to possess an eye for detail and a high level of accuracy; as well as have the ability to work well with a great team to maintain a positive environment for colleagues and customers.
