The Role
As an Estimator you will play a key role in the front-end delivery of projects, working closely with delivery teams, and subcontractors to develop competitive and commercially sound tenders.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing tender documentation and developing bid strategies
- Preparing detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates
- Developing and issuing subcontractor tender packages
- Assessing subcontractor and supplier pricing to build competitive submissions
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to refine pricing and methodologySupporting bid presentations, clarifications, negotiations, and post-tender handover
- Preparing feasibility estimates and early budget pricing where required
- Identifying value engineering opportunities and commercial risks
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within commercial construction
- Proven experience pricing medium to large-scale building projects
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance competitiveness with project risk
- A methodical and detail-focused approach to tendering
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with internal and external stakeholders
- The ability to manage multiple tenders and competing deadlines
- A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in winning quality work
