Authentic Security P/L currently has positions available for a Cash Room Processor to join our Cashroom team at our Brisbane depot. The role is based in the Moorooka branch. You will be responsible for processing of cash, creating cash floats, packing ATMs cassettes daily data entry on spreadsheets and reports. This role does require some manual handling and is repetitive in nature.
Authentic Security are looking for staff who are keen for a change of pace and a new challenge. The successful applicants will be required to count and verify cash and coin within set time frames.
Reporting to the QLD Cash Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Ensure all safety standards are being adhered to
- Being physically and mentally fit with the ability to undertake necessary manual handling tasks as required
- Ensure effective processing of cash and other valuables
- Maintain accurate cash processing records and verification to ensure balancing.
- Identify and report all discrepancies
- Adhere to strict security and operational procedures and rules
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
The successful candidate will:
- Have strong numeracy skills
- Current National Police check (Or willing to obtain)
- Current National Credit Check (Or willing to obtain)
- Have computer knowledge and data entry skills
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Have a high level of integrity and ability to work honestly
- Remain calm under pressure
- NSW Master Licence Number
