You will support the development of AI/ML capability, influence future policy and certification approaches, and work closely with engineering teams to deliver creative solutions within secure, mission-critical environments.Your duties will include:Develop AI/ML requirements and provide technical expertise across complex capability programs.Design,



develop and evaluate machine learning models using up-to-date AI frameworks and engineering best practices.Represent the organisation at AI/ML working groups, conferences and technical forums.Support the development of AI/ML certification policies and technical governance for future autonomous systems.Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into complex platforms.Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or a related discipline.Demonstrated experience developing machine learning models using Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn or OpenCV.Experience working with complex datasets including imagery, video, sensor, telemetry or time-series data.Strong understanding of the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, including model development, validation, testing, deployment and performance monitoring.Experience applying modern software engineering practices including version control, automated testing, documentation and Agile delivery.Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams in secure or safety-critical environments.Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
