Job description:About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a broad range of civil infrastructure projects.
The role includes:Preparing detailed civil construction estimates and tender submissionsReviewing drawings, specifications and contract documentationDeveloping construction methodologies and programmesCoordinating subcontractor and supplier pricingAssessing commercial and contractual risksSupporting value engineering and alternative methodology reviewsWorking closely with operational teams to ensure practical delivery outcomesParticipating in client meetings, site inspections and tender interviewsProjects will typically include:Bulk earthworksRoadworks and pavementsDrainage and utilitiesStructures and retaining wallsUrban development infrastructureRenewable and infrastructure civil worksProfile description:About YouWe are seeking a practical and commercially minded estimator with robust civil construction knowledge and a cooperative approach.




You will ideally have:5+ years' experience in civil construction estimatingExperience pricing infrastructure and urban civil projectsStrong understanding of construction methodologies and production ratesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsHigh attention to detail and robust commercial acumenAbility to manage multiple tenders and deadlinesCivil Engineering, Construction Management or related qualificationsExperience with estimating software and advanced Excel capabilityMost importantly, you will work well with operational teams and contribute positively to the strong culture being built within the Queensland business.Why Join Winslow Queensland?
