They are expanding their Engineering team.About the RoleProduction Engineer (Mechanical) to support the delivery and optimisation of mechanical systems, plant equipment, and engineering processes.
This role is ideal for an engineer with 1–3 years of industry experience who enjoys solving technical problems, improving equipment performance, and working across maintenance, operations, and project teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the design, optimisation, and continuous improvement of mechanical processes and plant equipment.Assist with mechanical investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.Develop and maintain engineering documentation, technical specifications, standard operating procedures, and maintenance plans.Provide engineering support for plant upgrades, equipment installations, and commissioning activities.Review mechanical drawings, P&IDs;, equipment layouts, and technical documentation.Work closely with operations, maintenance,



and project teams to deliver secure and productive engineering outcomes.Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, engineering best practices, and workplace health and safety requirements.About YouBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline.1 to 3+ years of experience in mechanical, process, manufacturing, industrial, utilities, or heavy engineering environments.Knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, valves, piping systems, conveyors, or other mechanical plant equipment.Experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.Experience with reliability engineering, asset management, or preventive maintenance.Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.Familiarity with CMMS, CAD software, or engineering analysis tools.Exposure to commissioning, maintenance planning, or capital works projects.Police check essential for this position.Join a company that truly invests in its greatest asset - it's people.TAKE YOUR CAREER TO RECENT HEIGHTS in & beyond
