DS Concreting QLD is seeking experienced Civil Concreters to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Cairns, QLD, this role offers the flexibility of ongoing casual work.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing and setting up concrete work sites, including formwork installation and safety measures
- Pouring, spreading, and levelling concrete to specified depths and grades
- Finishing concrete surfaces using appropriate techniques such as trowelling, broom finishing, and polishing
- Adhering to workplace health and safety requirements and protocols

What we're looking for

- Must have current Drivers licence and White Card
- Proven experience as a Civil Concreter or similar concrete finishing role within the building trades industry
- Proficiency in operating concrete finishing tools and equipment
- Physical fitness and capability to perform repetitive and labour-intensive tasks




- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Reliability and punctuality
- Relevant certifications or licences specific to concrete work (desirable)
