Batmac Constructions Pty Ltd is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Labourer. This role requires someone who can efficiently handle multiple responsibilities.

With over30 years of experience, Batmac Constructions has established itself as a highly successful company in the Construction and Commercial Building Maintenance industry. Since its inception in August 1994, Batmac Constructions has been headquartered in Nowra and has grown to become one of the largest and most trusted building companies on the South Coast.

We have offices conveniently located in North Nowra and Unanderra, enabling us to efficiently undertake Commercial Projects, Large Scale Residential Projects, and Commercial Maintenance Works within the regions we serve. These areas include the Shoalhaven, Illawarra, Eurobodalla, and Southern Highlands.

The location of the position will be determined based on the residency of the successful candidate, with options at either our North Nowra or Unanderra office.

Overview of Responsibilities but not limited to the following:

- Safely operate company vehicles to transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to various job sites.
- Follow designated routes and schedules for timely and accurate deliveries.
- Load and unload materials using proper handling techniques.
- Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Assist with general construction tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials.




- Support tradespeople and contractors in their daily activities.
- Perform manual labour duties including (but not limited to) digging, excavating, and site clean-up.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Use hand and power tools as directed by the supervisor.
- Receive, inspect, and organise incoming construction materials and supplies.
- Assist with the preparation and packaging of materials for delivery.
- Monitor and track stock movements, including issuing and returning materials as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised store area.
- Can drive Manual/Automatic utes and vans
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour tasks.
- Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Basic knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety practices.
- Solid attention to detail and organisational skills for store management.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and customers.

Preferred Qualifications

- Valid Australian LR (Light Rigid) or MR (Medium Rigid) developer’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Forklift licence or experience operating forklifts.
- Construction White Card or equivalent certification.
- Previous experience in a similar combined role in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of local traffic regulations and routes.
