About the Role You will be the technical expert ensuring that thousands of diverse product lines-from apparel to home goods-successfully navigate Australian border regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operational requirements for import compliance, ensuring all merchandise meets Australian trade laws.
- Act as the key link between Inbound Logistics, Merchandise Operations, and third-party service providers.
- Partner with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure a seamless clearance process.
- Identify potential compliance risks and conduct regular internal audits of trade programs to maintain a "world-class" service standard.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to keep the supply chain lean and efficient.
Requirements & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in international trade operations, with a heavy focus on Australian import requirements.
- Deep understanding of ABF regulations, BICON , and the Minimum Documents Policy .
- A Bachelor's degree in Logistics or International Trade is preferred; a Diploma in Customs Brokerage is a highly regarded advantage.
- The ability to interpret complex regulations and communicate them clearly to non-technical teams.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot root-cause issues in documentation.
