We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Pharmacist to join our friendly team in Balmain. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated pharmacist who enjoys building strong relationships with patients and contributing to a supportive community pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and provide professional medication counselling and patient care.
- Support and supervise pharmacy assistants, interns and students to maintain high standards of service.
- Assist with Webster packs and medication management services.
- Manage dispensary and front-of-store stock control, including inventory management and ordering.
- Provide qualified pharmacy services, including vaccinations, OTP services and other clinical services within scope of practice.
- Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Board requirements, PBS regulations and relevant legislation.
- Provide advice on prescription medicines, OTC products and general health enquiries.
- Contribute to a friendly, welcoming and patient-focused community pharmacy environment.
Skills and Experience
- Current General Registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA.
- Minimum 3 years’ post-registration experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Australian pharmacy legislation, PBS requirements and professional practice standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety and quality care.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team environment.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a busy pharmacy setting.
