About the role

/n

In this role you will contribute to and be part of the community - based, multidisciplinary area health team to support clients and carers to achieve an optimum level of health independence through:

/n

/n

- Comprehensive, co-ordinated and integrated multidisciplinary services,

/n

- Provision of client - centred care to community members from a broad range of backgrounds.

/n

- Contribute to the development and delivery of high quality, cost effective community-based Podiatry service.

/n

- Contribute to meeting the program and area health team key performance indicators (KPI's).

/n/n

All activities of the position will reflect current best practice standards for Podiatry. The position will operate according to relevant legislation, Barwon Health policies, programs and department guidelines.

/n

Keyresponsibilities

/n

/n

- Provide evidence-based, multidisciplinary consumer care, including assessment, care planning, treatment, review, and measuring outcomes.

/n

- Independently manage a day-to-day clinical caseload, ensuring all work is completed accurately, on time, and in line with Barwon Health policies and consumer care standards.

/n

- Demonstrate leadership and professional collaboration, contributing to committees, service development, clinical policies,



and working effectively with stakeholders.

/n

- Support ongoing learning and development, including supervision of junior staff/students, participation in quality improvement, research activities, and maintaining professional registration and CPD requirements.

/n/n

Whatwe'relooking for

/n

/n

- Current registration with the Podiatry Registration Board of Australia.

/n

- At least 2 years' experience in a community setting, with the ability to practice independently and manage clinical responsibilities.

/n

- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills, including building strong working relationships and collaborating with other health professionals.

/n

- Ability to work independently while consulting and collaborating with others, delivering culturally safe and inclusive care aligned with Barwon Health values.

/n/n
